OTTAWA–Canadian small business confidence fell for the third consecutive month in June, the first such string of declines since the financial crisis in 2008, amid concern about the situation in Europe and the world economy.
The Business Barometer index compiled by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business dropped to 62.1, the lowest level since last August, from 64.8 in May, the group said in a report Wednesday.
