ENTREPRENEUR SHOWCASE STARTS OFF STAGE THREE OF CRADLE'S COACH AND GROW PROGRAMME

KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Bernama)– The Coach and Grow Programme (CGP), an

entrepreneur training programme, is entering its closing stages as a recent

entrepreneur showcase for investors started off stage three for it.

The entrepreneur showcase, which saw the participation of 36 companies was

held during the Asian Business Angels Forum (ABAF 2012), and attended by many

regional and global angel investors.

The CGP is a market driven programme that brings together key players in the

entrepreneurial ecosystem to train existing entrepreneurs to overcome business

challenges and grow their businesses to greater heights.

Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd (Cradle) – a non-profit agency under the Ministry of

Finance – is the CGP”s Programme owner while the technopreneurs Association of

Malaysia (TeAM) is the manager.

“Form the entrepreneur showcase, we managed to show the regional and global

investors who attended that there are good quality deal flows in Malaysia.

“Cradle intends to create a pipeline of high-quality companies with regional

or global expansion potential that can grow and scale their business to the next

level, while attractive to funding agencies, angel investors and venture

capitalists,” said Cradle Chief Executive Officer, Nazrin Hassan in a statement

today.

He also expressed the hope that the entrepreneurs will benefit from the

advice, expertise, connections and market access of these international

investors.

He said Cradle is very pleased that more than 30 per cent of the

entrepreneurs obtained investors as mentors.
