Young entrepreneur creating family gaming environment in Lehi

You know something is different about the store before you walk through the front doors of Epic Games in Lehi. A couple of young men pedal in on their bicycles, park them in the foyer and turn with purpose to enter the shop. Beyond the bikes is a whiteboard on which is scrawled in large lettering “Jordan is a cHunk.”

“He’s really amazing. He’s kind of taken off,” said his mother, Wendy Bird, who owns her own business, Pearls with Purpose.

“He just figured out what he wanted in life, looked into it, talked to us and launched,” she said, chuckling. “He has done more in the first six months than what we projected on the spreadsheet for the first two years.”
