New mobile solutions product help SMEs become competitive

A MULTINATIONAL ICT firm has introduced its latest mobile solutions product that will help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country keep abreast with competition.
SAP Philippines managing director Darren Rushworth, during the SAP Philippines SME Summit 2012 Thursday at the Marco Polo Hotel Davao, said the SAP Business One is more focused on helping out SMEs in their business operation the easiest and fastest way as possible.

The SAP Philippines’ new mobile software solutions will centralize and integrate all core business functions across the company, including the financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory and operations.
“Desktops are dead already. Many people use their mobile phones to do computing. It’s all mobile,” Rushworth said, adding the use mobile device is getting the main way people access the technology.
Rushworth said the ICT firm provides mobile solution systems, mostly industrial, depending on the needs of the clients that will most likely support them in its business. Among the most common business application, he said are stocks, inventory and approval system.
According to Rushworth, the approval system will allow SME owners to get hold of all the transactions done by their employees and thus monitor every operation in the company that needs approval from its executive.
