‘FWBL is making efforts towards promoting SME sector’

–> First Women Bank Limited (FWBL) President Shafqat Sultana has said that Women Bank was making adequate efforts for promoting SME sector especially women engaged with business across the country. Talking to media persons here on Friday evening, she said that in order to promote SMEs the bank was extending loan facilities from Rs 0.5 million to 1 million and under its microfinance schemes small loans of Rs 10,000 to 25,000 would be provided to loan seekers for establishment of their small business in the country.
To facilitate the loan seekers, the bank had introduced a very simplified procedure for the purpose, she said. Shafqat Sultana added that the bank was trying to create job opportunities for educated and qualified females and hopefully the educated females interested in obtaining employment in FWBL would be adjusted.
